Small Company Solves Big Problem for Car Owners
(PRWeb) January 22, 2007 -- Water spots -- they're everywhere, they're unsightly and they can permanently damage automotive finishes. With today's softer clear-coat paints and the acid particles and minerals found in rain and tap water, surface stains from water spots are worse than ever. But the Better Way Company in North Collins, New York, has found a way to eliminate water spots on cars for good with "Too Easy" -- a patented, revolutionary, one-step car finish protectant.
"Too Easy car polish is a revolutionary new product for cars that has never before been tried," says Better Way Company president, Patricia Kelley. "We're way outside the box on this one, and the results are amazing."
The Problem
The water spots that, for decades, have been an unrelenting condition for all the cars and trucks in the world are caused by contaminants found in rain and tap water, that are concentrated into small rings by surface tension. "Rain drops can contain dissolved acid particles and industrial pollutants from hundreds or even thousands of miles away," says Ms. Kelley, "and tap water can be loaded with minerals."
A Better Way
"What if you could get a deep, rich, protective shine for your car with no water beads at all? What if you could shine and protect your car, but make rain and tap water 'sheet' and flow off the car instead of beading, drying and spotting?" asks Ms. Kelley "Well, that's exactly what Too Easy Car Polish does."
How Does Too Easy Car Polish Work?
Too Easy car polish's patented protective coating is not based on wax or silicone. Too Easy is a unique and ingenious combination of surfactant and polymer chemistry. Surfactants are chemical compounds that can break down grease and dirt, and they are found in all types of soaps and cleaners.
Too Easy's patented formula combines surfactant technology with the fluid mechanic action of "super-wetting" polymers. The super-wetting polymers flatten the water beads so that the water spreads out in a uniform sheet. When this happens, most of the water and the dissolved contaminants flow right off the car, and what's left behind can't concentrate into little rings. Instead, the remaining water is spread evenly across Too Easy's high-gloss finish where the contaminants can be dispersed and neutralized by the surfactant coating.
Don't think it's possible? Well there's a pretty amazing demo at the Better Way website: www.betterwaycompany.com. Watch it and what you'll see is a car that's been polished on one side with regular car polish, and on the other side with Too Easy. "You really don't see any difference in the two sides of the car until the water comes on," says Ms. Kelley. "That's when Too Easy's fluid mechanics takes over to protect the finish."
When water is sprayed over the car hood, the side of the hood that was polished with regular car polish is covered with water beads, but on the Too Easy side, the water is perfectly smooth. The time-lapse video clearly shows the water beads dry to form hundreds of little white water spots while the Too Easy side dries crystal clear with no spots and a beautiful shine. "This is a major breakthrough in car polish protectant," says Ms. Kelley.
Too Easy car polish, as the name suggests, applies in less than half the time of standard car waxes and polishes, because with Too Easy there's no rubbing or buffing or white powder left behind -- it is just sprayed on and rinsed off. "Too Easy is a wonderful time saver for busy moms," says Ms. Kelley. "And, as I'm sure you can imagine, Too Easy can offer tremendous benefits to car fleet owners."
Too Easy car polish is also biodegradable. It contains no solvents, no abrasives, no silicones and -- unlike regular car waxes and polishes -- Too Easy is perfectly safe, and recommended, for use on all exterior surfaces: plastic, vinyl, fiberglass, rubber -- even decals. No spots, easy to use, safe on all surfaces, and biodegradable. Too Easy is so different, it's no wonder it's patented.
"It will be a long time before science can provide energy without pollution, or tap water without minerals," says Ms. Kelley. "But in the meantime, people don't have to spend a lot of extra time and money trying to protect their cars. It's really easy to let Too Easy car polish do it for you!"
